Abstract:
Despite a strong association between well-being and performance, approaches that place well-being at the center of higher education development have so far only sparingly found their way into the higher education system. Positive Psychology can make a crucial contribution to enhancing the resilience of the higher education system. This article presents various interventions stemming from Positive Psychology for the higher edu-cation context, through which the basic psychological needs of students can be met, thereby enhancing their well-being. The possibilities and limitations of Positive Psychology for higher education institutions, as well as for advising students, are discussed.
