Abstract:
This article is based on a research project that investigates the influence of organizational learning culture on technology acceptance, as well as the role of targeted management control instruments in this process. Through a longitudinal study conducted during the early stages of technology implementation, the project aims to generate scientific insights into the relationships between learning culture, control instruments, and technology acceptance – both at the management and employee levels. The findings are intended to contribute to the broader discourse on successful technological change in organizations and to provide actionable strategies for management. Although the research design is tailored to the corporate context, both the approach and the insights are transferable to higher education institutions. The following article illustrates how the underlying approach and finding can inform and enhance practices in higher education institutions.
