Abstract:
Digital transformation and change are drivers of business these days. How can we teach the necessary skills and competences? An innovative teaching format combines Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with Design Thinking to equip students with skills in transformation and innovation. In a first step they gain the knowledge about ERP systems and smart technologies and how these tools can be used for optimization and digital transformation. In the second part based on real industry projects, students analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop digital solutions using prototyping methods such as Core Functional Prototyping (CFP) and Core Experience Prototyping (CEP). This enables them to acquire both theoretical knowledge and methodological skills in analysis, creativity, and innovation.
