Abstract:
This article presents the design of a competence-oriented examination format in a training program for the vocational subjects of health sciences, nursing science and cosmetology. As part of the „P:INK LBS“ project (Examinations: innovative and competence-oriented in teacher education programs for vocational schools), healthcare-based competence exami-nations were adapted for teacher training. Three specific conceptual challenges are outlined below – the legal framework conditions, the creation of acceptance and readiness as well as the assessment of performance test. Finally, key findings and potential for transfer to other modules, study programs and other institutes are formulated.
