Abstract:
Employability is a key meta-competence. Companies have a great need for young professionals who possess the most important key competencies. The top ten employability skills that companies need are well known. However, there is a large gap between the requirements for employability competencies from the perspective of companies and the key competencies acquired by graduates. Therefore, the promotion of employability as a meta-key competence during studies or training is crucial to ensure that future young professionals are well prepared for working life.
