Abstract:
In this report about the ‚Konstanzer Hochschulforschung‘ we limit our focus to the period at the ‚Zentrum I Bildungsforschung‘ or as ‚Sonderforschungsbereich 23 (SFB)‘ (1966-1984). We describe the development of the international project ‚Educational Biographies and Conceptions of Existence of Academics‘ (1966-1972) then the reorientation from 1972 and the work and results of the project ‚Study Situation and Student Orientations‘, focused on questions of socialisation and selection at universities (1972-1984). Finally, an outlook is given on the further development after the end of the SFB 1984, with the implementation of the ‚Student Survey‘ and the ‚fresh start‘ 2018.
