Abstract:
This latest issue of the journal Forschung examines the state of science studies in Germany and Austria and presents the profile of the Society for Science Studies (GeWif, Berlin). This institute performs important tasks by examining the processes of knowledge acquisition in science, their institutionalisation and framework conditions, drawing attention to their merits and contributing to securing their existence.
