Abstract:
In the wake of rapid developments in generative AI, universities are facing not only technological, but also cultural and structural transformations. Human resources development is called upon to create formats that not only impart individual knowledge, but also enable collective learning. At the University of Bonn, an innovative format called the ‘AI-Sprint’ has been developed, combining AI skills development with organizational learning. This article illustrates why traditional training programs are increasingly reaching their limits in the age of AI, and how new formats like the ‘AI-Sprint’ not only foster skill development, but also drive cultural change toward a learning organization.
