Abstract:
Academic teaching awards are now available at almost all universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany. A current study by the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences and a review of the research literature from the last fifteen years show: There is now a good culture of recognition. However, little work is being done on the incentive effect that many expect.
