Abstract:
Faced with declining interest in STEM disciplines, the THM University of Applied Sciences sought to enhance student recruitment by increasing outreach efforts to local schools through its various faculties. This resulted in uncoordinated contacts and confusion. To address these challenges, the Central Student Advisory Service focused on enhancing the existing Kontaktstelle Schule&THM to streamline and coordinate activities. A new working group, the Arbeitskreis Schulkontakte was formed to improve collaboration between faculties among each other and between faculties and the Kontaktstelle Schule&THM, ensuring greater transparency and synergy. The initiative aims to unify efforts, optimizing resources while promoting a cohesive approach to student outreach and engagement.
